To The One Who’s Doing The Heart Work

“Thank you for being really genuine about things”

There’s this someone who keeps saying thank you for everything that I did. Let me do my part this time 🙂

Thank you for showing up every day, quietly and steadily putting your heart into everything you do. Even when it feels like no one’s watching, or when lots of dar der dor coming, you keep going. That takes strength. A kind of quiet resilience that not everyone has. It’s easy to quit when things get tough, but you? You’ve shown up, day after day. And that’s something to admire.

I know life can be overwhelming, and I’ve seen how hard you push yourself—always striving to be better, to do more, to live up to expectations (well to be honest, mostly the ones you place on yourself hehe). Let’s be real, we’re all pros at being hard on ourselves (yes WE!). We get so caught up thinking about what we haven’t done yet, or where we think we’ve screwed up, that we totally forget to appreciate the journey so far. But trust me, from where I’m standing, I see it—everything you’ve put in. The effort, the heart, the strength. And honestly? It’s more than enough. Like, seriously, you’re doing great.

So thank you. Thank you for doing the heart work, for showing up even when it’s hard, for putting so much of yourself into everything. It’s not easy, I know. But you’re doing it. Every day. And that’s something you should be proud of. I’m proud of you, and I hope you can take a moment to be proud of yourself too.

Oh, and one more thing—stop saying sorry for thinking you’re a bother. Newsflash: you’re not. Sometimes, the people you think you’re “inconveniencing” are actually just waiting for you to reach out. It’s totally fine to lean on others. You don’t have to be a superhero 24/7. You might be surprised—people actually like being there for you. So yeah, let them. Well, maybe not 24/7 because we need proper sleep you know hahaha

So, here’s the deal—you’re doing great, seriously. Cut yourself some slack, lean on the people who care about you, and remember, you don’t have to have all the solutions or make mega super big changes. Keep doing what you’re doing, because it’s working. And if you ever need a reminder, well, I’m right here, cheering you on every step of the way. You’ve got this!

Best,
DSR
